Alexandra Rowan, D.O.
Dr. Rowan is double board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both general psychiatry and child/adolescent psychiatry. She has experience working in multiple psychiatric settings including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient clinics, consultation in medical hospitals, crisis centers, and more.
Dr. Rowan strongly believes in being both a teacher and a student to her patients. Educating patients, whether they are children or adults, is essential to providing proper care. Likewise, Dr. Rowan spends time learning her patients' interests, strengths, and concerns before determining the most appropriate treatment. Collaboration with patients and their families is at the forefront of Dr. Rowan's practice.
Aside from traditional psychiatric medications and psychotherapy, Dr. Rowan has a personal interest in nutrition and exercise, and is happy to work with patients if they wish to incorporate this into their treatment.
